An Announcement From Dr. Amin
Dear Flower Mound Family Dentistry patient family,
I am writing to you today with a personal update that will affect my professional dental services at Flower Mound Family Dentistry.
I am deeply grateful for the trust you’ve instilled in me as your dentist since 2010. It has been both a pleasure and a privilege to be a part of your oral healthcare journey.
However, due to persistent neck-related challenges and upon my physician’s advice, I have made the difficult decision to step away from clinical dentistry after 17 years of practice. My commitment to your optimal dental health and the well-being of my patients has always been my top priority, and I believe this decision is in the best interest of all.
Effective April 29, 2024, I will no longer be in the operatory practicing clinical dentistry. I plan to continue to mentor in an educational dental setting and/or lecture on various topics in dentistry. I am working closely with the team to ensure a smooth transition, especially if you are still in Invisalign treatment and have not finished.
Despite these changes, I want to assure you that your oral healthcare will not be disrupted. My colleagues, Dr. Sangeeta and Dr. Gray, will be available at the practice. They are both highly skilled, experienced, and dedicated professionals who share my commitment to providing the very best dental care. I am confident that they will take excellent care of you and your families. Please see our previous emails about Dr. Gray, as she is a newly added, well-experienced clinician to our team.

Dr. Sapna Amin, DDS
Dr. Sapna Amin was born and raised in Oklahoma City. Her pleasant demeanor and passion for dentistry allow her to provide superior dental care customized for each patient. She enjoys all facets of general dentistry, specializing in dental implants, sleep apnea therapy, pediatrics, and cosmetic dentistry. She believes in providing conservative treatment with one one-on-one attention. Dr. Amin can’t wait to welcome you into our dental family.
Approach to Dentistry
Dr. Amin provides a comprehensive and conservative approach where personalized treatment options support oral and overall health. She believes in exceptional dentistry with five-star service.
Dr. Amin studied biology at Marquette University in Milwaukee and completed her dental training at the prestigious University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
After receiving her Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Dr. Amin was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She has been recognized for her excellence in leadership, clinical skills, pain management, and dental anesthesiology.
Today, Dr. Amin strives to stay current with the latest technology and techniques in dentistry by attending numerous continuing education courses, including the Clinical Mastery Series and Sleep Dentistry. She has also undergone many advanced trainings regarding orthodontics and is a certified Invisalign provider.
